Lauren Lunde is a San Diego native working as a user researcher at Qualcomm, Inc. where she collects and analyzes data from contextual interviews, surveys, design sessions, usability sessions and other methods in order to improve the employee experience. She also provides project management support for various projects within IT. Prior to her role in user experience, Lauren worked as a Business Process Analyst managing a multi-million dollar budget, conducting cost-benefit exercises, leading process improvement initiatives, designing reports and dashboards, and helping groups within IT better showcase their value to the business. Lauren holds a B.A. in Economics and Spanish from Wellesley College. She was introduced to Ocean Connectors through Mission Edge’s skills-based volunteer program where she helped develop a cost model for their Eco Tours program. She has also volunteered for Project Concern International. In her spare time, Lauren loves running outdoors, baking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two young children.
