The Coastal Conservancy es una agencia del Estado establecida en 1976 para proteger y mejorar el suelo natural y las vías de navegación, ayudar a las personas a acceder y a disfrutar el aire libre y a sostener a las economías locales a lo largo de la costa de California y alrededor de la bahía de San Francisco. A través de su programa de suvenciones Explore the Coast, Coastal Conservancy da fondos a una gran variedad de programas que llevan a la gente a la costa.
