Sea turtle scientists from the NOAA Southwest Fisheries Science Center in La Jolla, California were integral to establishing the original Ocean Connectors program focused on the green sea turtles of San Diego Bay. Our students received special behind-the-scenes access to the NOAA sea turtle research site and to real marine life experts. These scientists are still involved with our work today.
