The California Coastal Commission distributes funds from sales of the WHALE TAIL® License Plate to promote activities that curb ocean plastic pollution, restore habitat for animals, support beach access, and teach children to become coastal stewards. The WHALE TAIL® Plate provides funding for nonprofit groups such as Ocean Connectors that are doing important education and conservation work in the state of California.
