Alison Pepper is from Murrieta, California and currently lives in San Diego. She received a B.S. in Environmental Science with a minor in Sustainable Studies from Point Loma Nazarene University. Her love for nature started from a young age, visiting national parks and surfing at various state beaches with her family. As she learned and understood marine wildlife, the more passionate she became about conservation and sustainability. Alison took a summer field course up in Whidbey Island, Washington that allowed her to gain specific knowledge in marine mammal ecology, physiology, research, and conservation. She has also volunteered with Surfrider San Diego, Olivewood Gardens & Learning Center, and SoCal A Rocha. Alison is excited to share her love for marine conservation and hopes to make a lasting impact on the youth she gets to work with.
